PANEL 1: Valentino approaches Jack, his voice quavering.
Valentino: “My family is glad to finally take yours under our protection Jack, the war is over.”
PANEL 2: Jack hands Valentino the briefcase.
PANEL 3: Val opens the briefcase.
Jack: “Sorry, kid. It’s not personal.”
PANEL 4: A flash of fear crosses Valentino’s face.

PANEL 1: Jack punches Val in the gut. The briefcase falls.
PANEL 2: “Val looks up from the ground, rain dripping in his eyes.”
Valentino: “Is this a joke…? What the hell are you doing?”
PANEL 3: Val shuffles onto his feet.
Val: “You're gonna turn this opera into a warzone!”
PANEL 4: Val reaches for his gun.
PANEL 5: Jack sweeps Val off his feet.
PANEL 6: Val’s gun lies on the ground.
